A
great way to visit Angkor Wat by overland from Bangkok,
seeing the beautiful rural countryside while traveling through the land that
once was so much affected by wars. Trip also covers
the fascinated Sihanouk
Ville. Return to Thailand via Ko Kong for a beach break at fantastic island of
Ko Chang.
Day1,
Bangkok - Poi Pet - Siem Reap (-/-/-)
Morning departure from own
hotel in Bangkok to Aranyaprathet, the border town. After getting
the Entry Visa at the border, depart by a private air-conditioned transport to
Siem Reap. Stops are made en route to visit Killing Fields Pagoda and
Stone Carving Village. Arrive at Siem Reap in the late afternoon.
Transfer to hotel for overnight.
Remark:
Transfer BKK-Aranyaprathet is by English speaking driver, not guide.
Day 2,
Siem Reap (B/-/-)
Visit South Gate of
Angkor, Bayon, Terrace of Elephant, Terrace of Leper King, Former Royal Palace,
Pahoun and Phimean Akas Temples. After lunch take a
bicycle ride from Angkor Thom to visit Angkor Wat temple.
End the day at Phnom
Bakheng where you can enjoy watching the sunset from that mountain.
Day 3,
Siem Reap (B/-/-)
Transfer to visit
Banteay Srei temple. After lunch visit Taprohm temples and
Tonle Sap Great Lake and take boat trip to see the floating
village.
Day 4,
Siem Reap - Phnom Penh (B/-/-)
Transfer to the pier for
boat trip across the Great Lake to Phnom Penh. Upon arrival in
Phnom Penh transfer to the hotel accommodation.
Afternoon visit Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda and Wat Phnom
Day 5,
Phnom Penh - Sihanouk Ville (B/-/-)
Morning visit
National Museum, Tuol Sleng Museum of Genocide. Depart at 13:00hrs. by
road to Sihanouk Ville through pleasant countryside.
Arrive Sihanouk Ville in the afternoon with time to enjoy the beautiful beach.
Day 6,
Sihanouk Ville - Ko Kong (B/-/-)
Morning is at leisure.
Afternoon transfer to the pier for speed baot to Ko Kong (schedule
12:00 - 16:00)
Arrival Ko Kong and then
visit Muslim fishing village and Chot Gnang Pagoda. Transfer to
the hotel to overnight at Koh Kong Grand Hotel.
Day 7,
Ko Kong – Border – Ko Chang (B/-/-)
Morning visit Mean
Chey High School to see learning environment for Cambodian children then
take a boat trip to a waterfall and mangrove forest (picnic
lunch). Afternoon departure to the border. After the immigration procedure,
drive for approximately 1½ hour to pier in Trad for a 30-minute ferry across to
the island and transfer to hotel accommodation.

Participants should already obtain visa or have re-entry visa to Thailand. The
immigration here is only a check point.

Day 8-9
Ko Chang (B/-/-)
At leisure
either to enjoy the beach, own exploration around the islands to see beautiful
waterfalls or forest, or take boat trip for corals around the islands nearby.
Day 10, Ko Chang –
Bangkok (B/-/-)
Joint transfer to Bangkok.
Termination of the tour.

Visas
for Cambodia will be issued upon arrival at International Airport (Phnom Penh or
Siem Reap) at a cost of US$25.00 per person. Participants should take with them
two passport-sized photographs, and 2 copy of passport.

The
Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has launched e-Visa
which enables you to apply for a Cambodia travel visa online. Instead of
applying through Cambodian Embassy, all you need is to complete the application
form and pay with your credit card. You will get your visa approved within 3
