We have over 30 vehicles, all of which are owned and operated by or ground operator.  We use Mercedes Benz and MAN vehicles, designed, modified and built to ensure the safety and comfort of our passengers.  All our vehicles carry a range of spare parts and at least one crew member is an experienced mechanic.  Before each truck begins a trip it will have been thoroughly serviced and overhauled, but it is comforting to know that in the unlikely event of a breakdown the necessary spares and experience are available. 

Our vehicles have between 27 to 30 seats and all carry full cooking and camping equipment, cassette players, exterior and interior lighting, lockers, long-range fuel tanks and 300 to 400 litre water tanks.  (Bring along an adapter to connect your CD / MP3 players to the cassette player.)

They have either all forward facing seats or a combination of forward and backward facing seats with little tables between.  A few of our trucks have a few side facing seats right in the front of the truck, but the rest of the truck has forward facing seats.  Keep in mind bench seating often faces inwards, so you can communicate with your fellow travellers, but it’s not advantageous for game viewing and photography.

Our trucks have soft cushioned seats - remember you want a truck that has comfortable cushioned seats, as you do spend a lot of time in the truck between points (driving time can be up to 8 hours on long days).  We have upgraded 90% of our fleet to fitted windows with only a few vehicles still having the roll up PVC sides.  We have also introduced a number of 4x4 Land Rover vehicles, which we use for our shorter small group safaris.
